Qayaq boat that was made of either whale bone or wood with seal skin stretched over it. It was used by the Alaskan eskimos for hunting.
Artist Ezra Hunt: His family comes from a small village on the Yukon River. He can remember stories from his grandparents who used these boats as kids while living the subsistence lifestyle.
